OUR DRAMA CLASSES
The ‘Cartwright Drama Studio’ philosophy is strongly tied up in the power of imagination. What makes ‘Cartwright Drama Studio’ different to other acting
classes is the use of unique techniques for improvisation and free thinking which we believe builds confidence, self-growth and self-discovery creating artistic
ideas while at the same time building the key skills of confidence and self-esteem. We encourage our students to lose themselves in creativity and expression.
We work with the voice to build strong theatre presence as well as looking at techniques for TV and film.
TV Acting Class
In this class we look at developing acting skills using camera for TV & Film .
Looking at techniques for the screen and the differences between TV acting and stage.
Learning important skills to focus on good breathing, posture and vocal techniques and having fun.
Acting Examination & Performance Class
These classes work using text and scripts.
Combining working towards acting qualifications and also working towards putting on an annual performance.
These classes work towards an acting qualification,
Perfect for those who want to work towards an accredited acting qualification.
NEA Graded examinations are progressive from Preparatory to Grade 8.
All NEA Examinations are recognised by Ofqual.
